TIC AI Advisor: What It Does, What It Does Not Do, and Who It Is For
Questo articolo è attualmente disponibile in inglese. La traduzione arriverà presto.
TIC AI Advisor is built to explain markets and trading process, not to replace judgment.

Inside the app it answers questions in plain language, grounds part of its education in TIC's academy content, and can reference your own journal context when that data exists. It is for traders who want a structured mentor in their pocket, not a machine that makes decisions for them.

The distinction matters. Many trading apps market "AI" as if the feature should tell you exactly what to buy or sell. The honest version is narrower and more useful: the advisor helps you understand context, review behaviour and ask better questions.

What does the TIC AI Advisor actually do?

It explains trading concepts, live market context and your own process in accessible language. The app's public FAQ states that AI Signals and the TIC AI Advisor are unlocked on the paid Pro and Elite plans, while the free plan keeps the academy, journal, paper trading, live data and other learning tools.

In practice, the advisor can help with questions such as:

Market context.

It can explain why gold reacts to DXY, what an inflation release usually changes, or how to think about drawdown after a rough week.

Education.

The app includes academy material, and the advisor can pull relevant academy snippets into its answer flow instead of replying like a generic chatbot.

Personal process review.

When your journal or account context exists, the advisor can respond with more relevant follow-up prompts, so the conversation is closer to your own behaviour than a random internet answer.

If you want to see how TIC frames AI-led trading education more broadly, the closest public companion page is /ai-trading.

How is it different from a generic chatbot?

The difference is not that it is magical. The difference is that it is product-shaped. The app code shows the advisor is surrounded by trading-specific context such as academy retrieval, market snapshots, calendar context, follow-up question logic and user-scoped history.

That means the experience is designed for traders rather than general browsing. It can stay anchored to TIC's educational voice, refer the user back to verified performance reading like how to read a Myfxbook track record, and keep the conversation inside a trading workflow rather than a blank chat window.

A generic chatbot may still be useful. The TIC advantage is narrower: more trading structure, more continuity, and clearer guardrails inside one app.

What are the plan limits and guardrails?

The advisor is intentionally not on the free tier. On the current app landing and comparison pages, Pro includes 20 AI Advisor messages per day and Elite lifts that to 100 messages per day. The free tier remains a real learning tier, but the advisor itself is a paid feature.

Here is the current plan shape:

PlanAI Advisor accessBest fit
FreeNot includedLearning through academy, journal, paper trading and market tools
Pro20 messages/dayRegular traders who want daily market explanations and signal context
Elite100 messages/dayHeavier users who want deeper ongoing review alongside other premium tools

The compliance boundary is just as important as the plan limit. The public app FAQ says the advisor is educational and informational content, not personalized financial advice. That is the correct framing. A useful trading assistant should help you think more clearly, not pretend to remove risk.

What happens to your chat data?

The app stores user and assistant chat messages in user-scoped server-side history so conversations do not vanish when you close the app. The chat-memory service encrypts stored message content, does not store system prompts, and the history can be wiped through the app's delete path. That is a much more credible privacy posture than marketing "AI" without saying what happens to the data.

It is also worth separating the advisor from the chart-screenshot feature. TIC's separate Chart Vision flow explicitly keeps chart images out of long-term storage and persists only the text exchange. The advisor article here is about the core chat feature, but the same product philosophy is visible: keep the feature useful, scoped and explicit about its limits.

Readers who want to compare education with proof should also check /results. The right sequence is not "trust AI first". It is "learn the concepts, inspect verified records, then decide what deserves your attention".

Risk notice:

trading carries high risk and you may lose your capital; past performance does not guarantee future results; educational only, not investment advice.
